young girls at the Lev Lalev orphanage struggle daily with their personal
traumas. It is not easy to just turn the page from their past suffering.
and Esti, came to the Lev Lalev girls Orphanage last year, after living at a Children’s Shelter in Tel
Aviv. They both arrived at the Home with only the torn and tattered clothes
that they were wearing. They were scared, hungry, and tired.
following morning, our program director took them shopping. The girls
were silent and speechless until one of them said “I’ve never had more than one dress to
wear before today” and then the other whispered “I
can’t remember the last time I had a normal pair of shoes”.
as Pesach (Passover) approaches, we are asking you to help us in our mission to
heal Tanya and Esti and the over one hundred other orphaned girls who
desperately need your support. Your generosity will provide them with a better
and brighter future.
