You Can Help an Orphaned or Disadvantaged Girl In Israel Smile On Her Birthday!

All of us know that brthdays are important milestones in the life of every child, especially, our girls who have suffered so much! they deserve our love and support!

They desperately need YOUR loving words of encouragement  - Let's noin together to wish them a very happy and fun birthday !!!

Below you can write a message to the the following girls at the Children’s Home in Netanya that will be celebrating their Birthday this month!

Sara A.- August 1st
Sara is a quiet and reserved young woman who likes to read and do research on the computer.  Although Sara keeps a small circle of friends, she likes to be helpful in a variety of ways such as assisting other girls who are less organized, to straighten up their rooms. 

Eilia C. - August 16th
Eilia has NEVER had her birthday celebrated before. Eilia is a bit unsure of what it means to celebrate a birthday, but from the smiles she is receiving from the staff who care for her, she is anticipating that it will be something fun!

Gila Z. - August 21st
Gila is new to the Children’s Home and only just beginning to adjust to her new life with so many ‘sisters’ and staff members who are gentle, encouraging and supportive – not what she is accustomed to.  It is a bit overwhelming for her but Gila is easing into the new routines better each day.

Chaya Miriam C. - August 22nd
Chaya Miriam takes her studies very seriously and has become a very self-disciplined young lady over the past year.  Chaya Miriam is enjoying her summer break at camp and she loves to play with pets which she has ample opportunities for!

Hodaya C. - August 31st
Hodaya has been at the Children’s Home since the age of 4.  Hodaya will be entering her senior year in High School this Fall and she is a wonderful role model and ‘big sister’ for the other 102 girls at the Children’s Home, always finding ways to be helpful to the younger girls.

Renana W. - August 16th
Renana faces many emotional challenges, including severe P.T.S.D.  She is undergoing intensive treatment to help her cope with traumatic memories.

Rivka R. - August 23rd
Rivka has earned her High School degree with a lot of support and tutoring to help her pass all of her school subjects. Rivka is currently being counseled on options for vocational training to help her develop skills so that she can become self sufficient and soon go out on her own.

Yael S. - August 20th
Yael has a very warm, friendly and outgoing personality and is always making new friends.  Yael has the special talent of making chores into fun projects for herself and her fellow ‘sisters’!

Yehudit A. - August 19th
Yehudit is very bright and plans to attend Nursing School at Laniado Hospital in the Fall.  The staff at the Children’s Home are extremely proud of Yehudit’s achievements and have high hopes for her in a future nursing profession!
