We didn’t know how to deal with them. The girls had studied at an Arab school and it’s a real change to go from an Arab School to a Jewish school. They were given teachers, they were treated with love and they were taught the basics. They learned about Shabbat, they learned about Judaism. You should have seen how happy they were when they drew the pictures of the Shabbat candles, challah and wine. Their faces lit up! They said, 'Housemother, look what I drew!' - with an Arabic accent. "
