Sigal's Story
"My
parents got divorced when I was two and when we got a bit older,
my little sister and I lived alone in Tel Aviv. Things kept getting
worse until I came here. I am now studying nursing at Laniado Hospital,
thank G-d. They also introduced me to my husband."
Where else could a girl who went through such hard times go at
the age of 18? The Rubin-Zeffern Children’s Home took it upon
themselves to train her in a nursing career and find a husband with
whom to build a Jewish home. This is one of their core principles
– NEVER to abandon ANY girl.
